Meet the Author
Bianca Turetsky
Bianca Turetsky is the author of the acclaimed Time-Traveling Fashionista series published by Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. The stylish series has been translated into 9 languages. She is the co-author of The Magic on the Map series of chapter books published with Random House Kids. After graduating from Tufts University, Bianca began working for artist and filmmaker Julian Schnabel, where she managed his studio for over 10 years and was his assistant on the Academy Award nominated film The Diving Bell and the Butterfly.
She is currently the Associate Director of Programs at Writopia Lab, an award winning non-profit that offers writing workshops for kids and teens from all backgrounds. She received a National Scholastic Outstanding Educator Award for her work. She lives in Brooklyn, NY with her cat Cleo and a closet full of vintage dresses.
